Jez is a fond reader and writer. His love of story telling comes from his childhood and some of the stories he was told. Jez loves to read about ghost stories, spooky stories, pretty much anything weird
.

When he was a child and was scared of the dark, and the noises outside of his bedroom; instead of his parents saying, "Don't worry, there is no such thing as ghosts!" His parents would say, "It's ok. Tell them that their welcome and bring them in!"
No wonder Jez has turned out the way he has!?

Below are some of Jez's favourite 'unheard of ' books! These books have been self-published over at lulu.com and aren't available to buy in shops.

So why not grab yourself a copy? You could even talk to the authors on lulu and get your copies signed?!

Ron Malane's The House That Sanity Forgot

    HouseSanityFronyCover Jez's rating : 4/5

The House That Sanity Forgot by Ron Malane is an auto-biographical story about Ron's experience with schizophrenia. In particular his memories of helping to cure the disorder.

The book starts with him waking up and recalling a memory, then without sleeping waking up again and recalling another, different, memory. He has no idea of which is real and which is a dream, and he battles on through these warped memories to discover what he's doing and where he is and why?!

He shows us how this disorder can affect your views on reality, and how reality can affect your views on life.
Ron has done very well to put together a lot of emotion and adventure in a book about a terrible condition that can destroy lives.

This peculiar book about a peculiar subject is only a short story, but the filling takes you into Ron's mind and you get to feel what it really was like in The House That Sanity Forgot.
